Hariom Everyone Happy New Year !!
We started the new year with all hope and God's blessings to have Peace and Arogata all over the world by learning about Lord Rama and Saint Tulsidas who wrote Tulsi Ramayana and also composed Hanuman Chalisa while he was sick to remove all his illness.
We started learning chaupais from 1 to 10 and watched videos on stories related to chaupais,with all the energy of learning chalisa and stories related to it. Also came the House Story telling Competition which most of our kids participated in and earned good points for our Bajarangi Bolts.See You next month HariOM

Hariom Everyone Can't believe a month has passed since New Year.
This month also started with excitement in every aspect and more fun House activities like Spirit day followed by Volunteering of JCHYK to our classrooms which was very much of a surprise and fun since one of the kids sibling happened to be the JCHYK .The Spirit day activities were filled with cool Coding Games which contain information about sages and saints,Solving these coding games were a challenge for grownups but for our smart kids it wasn't a big deal .This time again Bajarangi Bolts proved they are the strong and selfless sevak to the Supreme Self.

Dec 17, 2021 - Grade 2 (Friday)

 Hari Om Parents,

Here is the summary for the Month of December 2021:
We started our class by chanting Om three times, followed by opening prayers and daily prayers. We did meditation using Japamala.
After meditation we chanted Dhyaan shloka and revised the qualities of Hanumanji, children learned in the last class.
Dec 3rd-We talked about 8th quality of Hanumanji "Vakpatutvam"
Children learned through this quality what is eloquence ? And How to be an effective communicator?
After lesson we did Geeta chanting.
Dec-10th
Children have already studied Ramayana in the first grade. So we started Hanuman Chalisa, telling summary of whole Ramayana . We used the pictures from Ramayana. This will help children refresh the story of Ramayana.
After Whole Ramayana summary, we explained children, Why do we sing the Hanuman Chalisa? Who wrote Hanuman Chalisa and Why?
Dec-17th
Since this was the last Balavihar class of the year we played educational games related to our topic with children.
Children enjoyed learning through games.
We concluded the class with ending prayers.

Hariom Everyone
Here is an update about what was happening at our 2nd grade class for the past three classes.
We started this month by starting to learn more about Dhyana slokam and continued with Nirbhaya Tvam ,Arogata and Ajadyam .We also played a couple of Word wall games and had fun with House inaugural activities and games.
We also had a special visit from Brahmacharini Akalkaji who blessed our class and entertained us with her nice story and listened to our class chanting Dhyana sloka and was so happy the way they chanted and answered all the questions that were asked by her.
We ended the month of November by talking about what and who we are Grateful and Thankful for

Oct 22, 2021 - Grade 2 (Friday)

Hariom Everyone
It was a busy month for second grade class. This year we are learning about Superman Hanuman. First we learned to chant Dhyana sloka and started learning the meaning. All the kids in our class show so much enthusiasm, it makes sevaks so excited to teach them.
We have finished Buddhir, Balam, Yash and Dhairyam so far and also a little bit of Nirbhaya tvam (Fearlessness) Most of our kids in the class also ask questions regarding the topic which shows us they are interested and focused.We have Colorful Google slides to explain the lessons also with stories on video related to the subject and also word wall games related to our subject almost every week.
We also had an opportunity to talk about Navratri in between and also celebrated and performed Saraswathi Pooja as a group.

Hari Om Parents,

Welcome to the Chinmaya Bala Vihar 2021-22

Today was the first day for the Bala Vihar Grade 2 class.

We Started our class by  chanting Om three times followed by opening prayers. After Opening prayers we did meditation using Japamala . We chanted Shri Ram Jaya Rama Jaya Jaya Ram 27 times.

We were very happy to meet the children. First we did an introduction to get to know  each other using the game Wheel of Fortune. Children had fun, we learned a bit about each other . Where they live, their school name, favorite things, favorite food, subject, favorite god etc. Hanumaji is the "The favorite God" for most of the students.

We discussed this year's topic "Shri Hanuman, The Super Superman." Children were very happy and excited to learn about Hanumanji. We explained to the children what books and supplies they will need every Friday's Balvihar class. Also we explained the zoom atticates. 

Children learn to chant  dhyana Sloka and opening prayers with the help of video. We watched HanumanJi's  video to learn his qualities. We watched  and discussed the story video "The  Empty Pot"

We concluded  the class with ending Prayers.
