Hari Om Parents,
It was great seeing you all and this evening we were honored to have Brni Akalka Ji in our class to teach our kids. She spent time with our kids talking to them, singing Ganesha Bhajan and narrating story to kids
Our class started with opening prayers followed by introduction with Brni Akalka Ji after which she interacted with Kids. Kids followed her for Ganesha Bhajan "O Great God Ganapati"
O Great God Ganapati
Great God Ganapati, I bow to Thee,
Elephant faced one, I bow to Thee,
Delight of Lord Shiva, I take refuge in Thee,
O big Belly Son of Mother Parvati,
Infinite Om, Oh I bow to Thee,
You ride on a mouse and Win Victory.
After that she narrated the story about A Teacher giving his kids Banana and asking that go and eat it to the place where no one is there but one of the kids realized that there is no place where no one is there. Kids learned from the story that GOD is everywhere and never feel that you are alone.
As class continued, we did the following:
Reinforced – Vakratunda Mahakaya, Karagre vasti and Sarswati Namatubhyam
वक्रतुंड महाकाय, सूर्यकोटी समप्रभ
निर्विघ्नं कुरूमे देव, सर्व कार्येशु सर्वदा
vakratunda mahākāya sūryakoṭi samaprabha

Saraswati Namastubhyam
Sarasvati Namastubhyam Varade Kaama-Ruupinni |
Vidyaarambham Karissyaami Siddhir-Bhavatu Me Sadaa ||
We continued the class with Yoga and did poses like Tree pose, Lion pose and other poses. Towards the end, we did Devi Craft and all the kids did amazing job for building the craft.
We completed our class with closing prayer. We will see you next class.
