Below are the details of what we covered in class today.
High Level Agenda:
· Guru Stotram (Verse 1, 2 , 3 and 4)
· Yoga activity
· Geeta Chanting words refresh, Verses (39, 40) and Attendance
· Game time – Recap of lessons in Week 1-4
· Likitha Japa
· Craft activity to make a Bookmark
· Sync-up with Parents
Details:
- We started by chanting OM three times, and our opening prayers
- We continued with Guru Stotram, revised verses 1, 2, 3 and learnt verse 4. Children took turns to chant verses 1, 2,3 and 4.We did a Yoga through a story,

- It was game time! We revised lessons taught from Week 1 to Week 4 through a word wall game! Children selected the question Tiles and walked through the stories we have learnt until now in Bhagavatam
- Then students did their Likitha Japa 11 times! We talked about how to sit in a calm place, think/visualize their favorite God and write one of 4 japa choices. This is something they can use to calm themselves down, or to write when they feel unrestful. Most students got in the mood and wrote 20 or more times.
- Then we moved to a bookmark craft activity. Students were guided on the steps to draw Sage Narada and make a bookmark. @Parents, please share the bookmark that they have created in WhatsApp as it would be useful to make year end album of all their activities.
- We wrapped up doing Chinmaya Pledge with the students
- We had sync-up with Parents to align on class structure, expectations from students attending classes, modes of communication, and to save dates on upcoming programs namely Annadanam, Geeta Chanting regional and Grade 3 monthly program.
