Oct 31 and Nov 14 – Grade 2 (Sunday PM)
Hari OM Parents!
Week – 10/31/21
● Started the class with 3 OMs chanting & opening prayers (Om Saha Navavatu).
● We reviewed the first three values covered in Dhyana Shloka, and chanted the same.
● We watched a special video on '5 days of Diwali celebration', to explain the significance.
● Due to house inauguration day, children played a Quizziz game related to various features of India.
● We all joined the main zoom and watched high schoolers present the "Hastinapur times" show.
● Concluded the class with Aarthi and Pledge in the main session.
Week – 11/14/21
● Started the class with 3 OMs chanting & opening prayers (Om Saha Navavatu).
● Reminded kids of zoom expectations.
● Children recited Dhyana shloka.
● Kids had a lot of fun, when Swamini Akalkaji visited our class and taught "Ganesh ji" bhajan.
● We continued learning the essence of the next value, "Dhairyam" (courageous).
● We heard stories about courage: Ratnakara's transformation into Sage Valmiki and Rosa Park's act of bravery.
● Children continued to work on the Hanuman Backbone project.
● Watched and practiced "Bhagavad Gita verses" with Swamiji's videos.
● Concluded the class with Aarthi and pledge.
