Hari Om Parents,
Hope you all are doing well. We started our class with 3 "OMs" followed by Sahana Bhavtu". We did 3 Times
Om Shri Ganeshay Namah
Om Shri Sarswataye Namah
Om Shri Satgurbhayo Namah
We continued the class with Yoga and did poses like Tree pose, Lion pose and other poses.
As class continued, we did the following:
Reinforced – Vakratunda Mahakaya, Karagre vasti , Sarswati Namatubhyam and Brahmaarpanam
वक्रतुंड महाकाय, सूर्यकोटी समप्रभ
निर्विघ्नं कुरूमे देव, सर्व कार्येशु सर्वदा
vakratunda mahākāya sūryakoṭi samaprabha
nirvighnam kurū me deva sarva karyeśu sarvadā

ब्रह्मार्पणं ब्रह्म हविः ब्रह्माग्नौ ब्रह्मणा हुतम् ।
ब्रह्मैव तेन गन्तव्यं ब्रह्मकर्मसमाधिना ॥
Brahmārpañam Brahma Havir Brahmāgnau Brahmañāhutaṃ,
Brahmaiva Tena Gantavyam BrahmakarmāSamādhinah.
We learned about Sanskrit numbers and colors and covered following
One एकम् (ekam)
Two द्वे (dve)
Three त्रीणि (treeni)
Four चत्वारि (chatvaari)
Five पञ्च (pancha)
White - Shweta
Black- Krishna
Red- Rakta
Green- Haritah
Ping - Patala
After that she narrated the story about "Elephant King Gajendra " in which how he prays Lord Vishnu when his leg was was claimed by Crocodile named Makara and we learned that we should always pray supreme Lord and never be egoistic for anything.
We also did the Lotus Craft which every kid in the class really enjoyed.
We chanted another two version (41 and 42) of Chapter 2. Here is the link for you to recite at home and teach kids.
