Here is this week's update.Week 9:

Opening Prayers and Stotras:
Class began with opening prayers. 3 OM's and followed by Sahanavavathu,
Om shrI Ganeśaya Namaha, shrI Saraswatyai Namaha, shrI Sat Gurubhyo Namaha.
We continued to learn the Mahisasura mardini stotram, verse 8. We had two volunteer students to repeat and chant the verse.
India -The Sacred Land : We had four children to talk about their personal understanding of the culture. The presented beautifully sharing some pics of dance and instruments, writing names in their respective languages.
Mahabharata - we watched a short clipping of The grandsire falling at the bed of arrows on the day 10 of the war. Having Sikhandi in the forefront, Arjuna is unstoppable in shooting arrows one after the other at Bhishma Pitamah. With him being retired hurt at the war front, the Bhishma parvah ends and the next is Drona Parvah which we will see in the subsequent session.
Gita Chanting:
We recorded verses 43-50 to send for House points.
