We recorded Gita verses from 51 to 60
Mahabharata - After the Drona vadh and the end of Drona parva, we had a brief discussion on what was Drishtadhyumna's purpose of birth or arising from the homa kunda. We also discussed the friendship of Drupada and Drona while at Gurukula and their enmity after Drupada becoming the king of Panchala and  did not treat Drona as his best friend like earlier times. Though Drupada promised he would give half of his kingdom to Drona, Drona wanted only two cows to feed his son Aswathama and his family but was insulted in his kingdom. Drona raised his students the Pandavas and Kauravas as warriors and asked Drupada in the form of Gurudakshina. Drupada was captured and was presented before Drona, who in turn set him free as they were great friends once upon a time. Drupada felt insulted and wanted to take revenge and wanted a son with super powers to kill Drona and he performed the yagna where Dristadhyumna emerged.
