Opening Prayers and Stotras:
Class began with opening prayers. 3 OM's and followed by Sahanavavathu,
Om shrI Ganeśaya Namaha, shrI Saraswatyai Namaha, shrI Sat Gurubhyo Namaha.
We learned the third and fourth verses of Mahalakshmi Ashtakam.
Game time - We played a jeopardy on India the sacred land (the topics covered until now)
Mahabharatha -Aswaththaama tries to kill everyone in the battlefield by Narayanastra, after the shocking death of Dronacharya. Krishna tells everyone in the Pandava army to drop their weapons and prostrate , as the weapon will not harm those who surrender to it. On Day 15, Karna becomes the Commander in chief. He starts the war on the Blackfoot, having used the Shakti astra he had received from Indra on Ghatotkacha.

We had the 8th graders performance today and we dispersed to it by concluding our class with santhi patha.
